El Camo is a project created by a Colombian producer Camilo Barrios. Located in the northern coast of Colombia, El Camo takes basic elements of the pop and folk music of his surroundings and manipulates them until a new psychedelic entity emerges. Being a huge fan of rock, he takes its abrasiveness and uses modern technology to reinterpret ancient rhythms.

“Ritual Nº1” is El Camo's third ever release, which fuses Andean shamanistic elements with tribal and ritualistic rhythm patterns of the African diaspora to South America in the 16th Century. This track is meant to bring the ethereal and spiritual essence of an Ayahuasca ritual to the dance floor using the "Son Palenquero" as a vehicle.
