Torcet Cumbia Likers is an experimental project that mixes Cumbia with sounds created by digital synthesis. Torcet Cumbia Likers uses sampling and midi controllers to maninupalate huge sound libraries in order create sonic soundscapes.

Some of TCL songs have structures similar to dance music while others are more progressive in its construction. Chilean label Sello Regional released their debut EP in 2016.

The track “CumbiaFlow” was created by sampling another original song and converting the sample into different midi instruments. Percussion was placed on top of the melody track there is a channel with a delayed percussion that was recorded live played with a pad controller.
